Ò   Shastrakauthukam was a full day programme designed for pupils of upper primary schools under Aluva BRC.To help the pupils to approach Science in a different way and to make pupils familiar with scientific experiments were its main objectives.

Ò   Retired teacher Sri James Vargheese presented about 35 simple experiments.It helped the pupils to generate curiosity and interest in Science.The programme was inaugurated by ward member Smt Molly Jimmy.30 pupils from different schools under Aluva BRC participated in this programme.Tea and snacks were provided.Vote of thanks was given by cluster co-ordinator Sri Joymon K.J

 The art of public speaking

Ò   A BRC based programme “Art of public speaking” was conducted on 29/10/2014 at Aluva BRC.Sri Anson CJ,BPO I/C of Vypeen BRC lead the programme.35 pupils from various U.P schools under Aluva BRC participated in this programme.This programme really helped the pupils to develop confidence to stand and speak in front of an audience.As a result of this programme,the winding up session was done by pupils themselves.

Ò   A BRC based charity programme was arranged in Aluva Brc with the support of Daya charitable society.The Kadungaloor Grama Panchayath president Sri KK Jinnas,Ward member Smt Molly Jimmy,Deepa madam,Daya charitable society members Sri Jaleel Thanath,Sri Jose Varapuzha,BRC staff,Sri KS Aliyar(GLPS East Kadungaloor),teachers and pupils from GLPS East Kadungaloor were present.A home based child Noel from GUPS Kuttikkattukara was gifted with a wheel chair by Sri KK Jinnas.

Hindi fest 

Ò  A BRC based full day programme ‘Hindi fest’ was conducted in Alangad cluster to enhance Hindi learning.The Alangad Panchayath President T.U Prasad inaugurated the function.Competitions on 12 items like Hindi Drama,Patriotic Song, KadhaKadhan,Drama were held.Pupils from GHS Kongorpilly,LFHS Panayikulam and KEMHS Alangad participated in this programme.IEDC Programme officer Deepa Alexius,BPO I/C Sojan O.P,Ward member P.S Jagadeeshan,BRC Trainer Sunil Kumar and other BRC staff were present.
